Hetq.am reports that one of the largest hotel complexes in Armenia, ‘Dvin’, will undergo capital renovations and reconstruction within the next three years. The hotel – a classic example of late-modernist, 1970s Armenian architecture, had been privatised in 1990s and was completely gutted out for renovations in 2005. Currently only the shell of the building is standing. It has been stripped of all its original and extensive interior design, much of it specially comissioned from the best Armenian artists of the time.
