One of the earliest projects by architect Koryun Hakobian was this major industrial building next to the Cognac Factory. Today, the factory carries the same function and is the site of ‘Cilicia’ beer brand.
Built out of red tufa stone, this is a classic example of ‘Tamanian’ school of neo-classical Armenian architecture and one of the most beautiful industrial buildings in the history of Soviet Armenian architecture.
The exterior of the building has had almost no changes to it made, but the condition of the iteriors is unknown to us.
